The Landscape Designer and Client Manager is responsible for leading our clients through the Donas Outdoor Living Experience; ensuring that each and every client understands what to expect during their process and receives the support required to achieve our mission statement. Sell and design full landscapes, hardscapes, & pool installations. 2 years professional experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• SET CREWS UP FOR SUCCESS
• 2-D & 3-D Designing
• Plant material knowledge
• Contract and Estimate – Preparation, administration and closeout
• Determine man hours & materials needed for each job to build accurate estimates
• Site Review – Inventory and analysis, project and logistical reviews
• Design – Client meetings, drawing creation and preparation, presentations and reviews
• Understand, determine, and shoot grades and elevations
• Permit drawings and applications
• Meetings – Client, construction, administrative, logistical
• Estimates – Creation, review, presentation and administration
• General – Office tasks and correspondence
• Tracking KPI’s
• Make sure crews understand the daily jobs and the materials that will be needed to complete each job
• Visit sites to monitor job progress, quality, and bring any needed material
• Communicate with customers for bidding, job status, job progress, and any other concerns in a polite and courteous manner
• Inspect all work for quality to eliminate the need for return visits and/or re-work due to quality or customer satisfaction issues
• Plan and manage the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM including all daily labor, equipment and materials required to complete daily objectives
• Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are in compliance with company PPE standards
• Comply with all company policies and regulations
• Conduct team meetings
• Attend training seminars
• Must be proficient in:
• Pro Landscape
• SketchUp
• Dynascape
• SynkedUp
• The position is not limited to the above responsibilities, as times may require additional help with other duties.

Performance Deliverables

• Make sure crews understand the jobs and what is expected
• Design and estimate profitable jobs
• Communicating job tasks to crews and ensure they are completed with quality and efficiency
• Minimize customer complaints with good communication to crew and attention to detail in every job completed
• Employee performance will be evaluated by job profitability, total profitable sales, KPI’s (key performance indicators) , call backs, and customer feedback

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sketchup or equal: 2 years (Preferred)
