Now Hiring - Lindmark Companies - Media And Communication BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Sales) in Norman, OK

Our Business Development Manager produces billboard sales, manages the account, and finds new business in the Oklahoma market. Please note this position will be located in our Norman, OK office (position is not a remote position).

Essential Job Functions and Tasks- These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.

• Procures new sales by assisting potential customers with billboard availability, sending contracts, negotiating contract terms, arranging payments. Follow up on all leads.
• Manages current accounts by rolling over expiring contracts and up selling where needed.
• Works with graphic designers to organize design of billboards. Ensure billboards are printed correctly, to customer specifications, and posted by the promised time.
• Conducts market rides quarterly, or as needed, using personal vehicle.
• Works with operations to ensure signs are in the best condition.
• Assist with the collection process. Contact customers for payments and submit legal collections as needed.
• Performs similar or related duties as required or assigned.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma (or equivalent) is required plus two years of related experience; including high-level administrative duties and account management/reporting. Five years of related experience preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Intermediate knowledge and skill of:

• Microsoft Windows environment.
• Internet browsers.
• Outlook

Must possess great attention to detail, strong organization skills, and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Customer Service skills.

Ability to:

• handle multiple projects at once
• meet tight deadlines under pressure
• manage heavy inbox workload efficiently
• work independently and as part of a team
• follow instructions
• Travel long distances via automobile

Understanding of basic media planning terminology and concepts, a plus.

Knowledge of Out of Home Dictionary or willingness to learn, a plus.
