Business Development Specialist

The Packaging program is a resource for manufacturers and businesses to reduce corporate waste. This program buys unused packaging components and offers them for sale at a reduced price. The focus of this position is to sell large volumes of this Packaging.

Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for an energetic, aggressive and highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our sales team. The BDS will be responsible for making high volume outbound cold/warm calls and sending follow-up emails to companies with the goal of selling large quantities. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, career-oriented sales person with an entrepreneurial spirit in this salary plus commissioned role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with all departments regarding sale of products
• Research accounts, identify client needs and requirements
• Ability to meet or exceed quota
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects
• Make product recommendations to customer base

Desired Qualifications:

• Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A positive “can-do” attitude with the ability to overcome obstacles and pursue desired results
• Strong organizational and listening skills
• 2+ years aggressive inside sales experience
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Talent to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Basic math skills and proficiency in windows-based operating systems
• Strong phone presence and experience making numerous calls per day

Pay: $59,314.00 - $64,935.00 per year
