We are a growing mortgage lender based in Melbourne, Florida, seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our loan officers in completing loan applications, collecting preliminary documents, and reviewing disclosures. You will be helping to generate new business, build relationships with referral partners, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and act as a partner to our clients throughout the loan process.

This can be an entry level position into the mortgage industry, and is a great position for someone who wants to learn more about sales, and about mortgages. The ideal candidate will posses excellent communication and customer service skills, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to prospective clients to generate new business for our loan officers.
• Build relationships with referral partners to increase business opportunities.
• Schedule appointments for loan officers to meet with prospective clients.
• Collect and review loan application documents from clients.
• Provide assistance to clients in completing the loan application.
• Ensure all loan application documents are complete and accurate.
• Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their loan application.
• Act as a partner to our clients throughout the loan process.
• Maintain a positive relationship with referral partners and clients.

Qualifications:

• Interest in sales and being compensated on a commission basis.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer skills.

Compensation:

This position is commission-based. Expected compensation during the first year would be between $36,000 to $45,000, but could go up from there based on performance.
