The Role
You will support the relationship with existing customers, monitoring the base book of business, and growing the business over time. Servicing multiple accounts concurrently is an important aspect of the position is necessary. You will deliver exceptional customer service daily and manage priorities according to both Modine and customer needs.
You will be reporting to the Sales Manager and will work out of our Racine, WI global headquarters.
Responsibilities
Manage business with existing customers.
- Support Business Account Manager(s) with existing customers
- Develop new business with existing customers and identify opportunities to increase share of wallet.
- Prepare, submit, and participate in quote negotiations for new programs, and for updates to existing business.
- Maintain entire book of business and ensure profitability levels exceed company targets.
- Work with our teams as the “Voice of Customer” to resolve all customer account management matters.
- Answer customers’ questions regarding products, prices, availability, and uses.
- Facilitate internal reviews of customer contracts to determine Modine's position.
- Perform field support and training to educate customers on merits of product and basic operation.
Stay on top of evolving industry trends.
- Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on competitors.
- Have a understanding of Modine products, competition in the market, and positioning.
- Understand customer’s product needs and give feedback to Modine design team for latest technologies.
- Attend conferences and industry events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Science, Marketing, or related field; Engineering
- Manage several complex projects.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Support evolving short-term customer needs based on fluctuations in customer activity.
- Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
TRAVEL:
- 20-30% anticipated domestic travel to support customer development and targeted growth goals.]
