RBC Medical Innovations is a cutting-edge medical device design and manufacturing firm located in Lenexa, KS. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team
The RBC Medical Innovations Commercial team is expanding and seeking an additional Account Manager to support our active client base. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients are receiving best in class communication and transparency surrounding their program progress and financials. At RBC Medical Innovations, we get to partner with some of the world's most innovative start-ups and largest medical device OEMs, providing product development and contract manufacturing services to bring their therapies to market.
Accountabilities
- Partner with Program Director and Program Manager on strategic client programs, ensuring overall program performance is on track to scope, schedule and budget.
- Schedule regular touchpoints with key decisions makers within strategic accounts to build lasting relationships, ensure clear communication and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Leverage client relationships to proactively identify new project opportunities within accounts that could drive incremental revenue.
- Partner closely with the project management teams to understand project progress, ensure seamless communication, and celebrate milestones.
- Actively use the CRM system to document touchpoints and ensure coordinated customer communication is retained.
- Collect client satisfaction metrics for active accounts on a quarterly basis and provide feedback to the organization on areas of success or improvement.
- Partner with key internal contacts to develop and negotiate necessary client agreements, such as Master Services Agreement.
- Engage and cross share best practices across Account Management team, creating new tools or processes where needed.
- Manage 4-8 strategic clients at any given time.
Qualifications
- 5+ years medical device product management experience
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and computer skills required, including MS Office required: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Adobe
- A problem solver and effective multi-tasker, who knows the right questions to ask to produce results in short turn-around time
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, both verbally and in written correspondence
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor with office personnel, clients, and vendors
- Must perform work in a discreet manner in situations requiring confidentiality
- Experience with proposal preparation, qualification statements and senior leadership presentations
Travel Expectations: 15-25%
Location Requirements: Kansas City, MO; Lenexa, KS; Remote
