Wilhoit Properties, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Consultant to assist at our apartment community.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Experience in property management is preferred; good knowledge of customer service/sales is preferred; computer literacy is required; must have good oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for leasing apartment in accordance with policies and procedures set by management.

2. Assists in measuring effectiveness of marketing programs and in conducting market surveys.

3. Assists in development of advertising and implementation of special promotions.

4. Assists in preparation of market surveys.

5. Assists in preparation of traffic reports and weekly stats.

6. Answers the phone pleasantly and establishes rapport with each prospective resident.

7. Tours apartments and screens applicants in a manner consistent with the image of the property and relevant to the prospect.

8. Uses knowledge of property and community to overcome prospect’s reservations and follows up on undecided prospects.

9. Prepares lease packet and assists in maintaining complete resident files under the direction of the property manager.

10. Comply with all Fair Housing laws, practices, and regulations.

11. Any additional duties as assigned.
