WALTER is an electronics recycling social enterprise. Its dual mission is:
● Creating job opportunities for young adults facing obstacles to employment in Brownsville, NYC
● Having a positive environmental impact through responsible recycling of used electronics
We offer a turnkey solution for organizations looking to dispose of their unwanted electronics securely and responsibly. This service includes pick up and removal of e-waste, recycling and data destruction.
What we need:
We are looking for an experienced sales professional who can help grow our commercial business. She/he will be responsible for lead generation, marketing support, and account management. She/he will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
What we are looking for:
● Full-time availability
● 2 to 4 years of strategic sales experience with solid technical skills
● Self-starter able to generate a solid and consistent pipeline with customer success skills and ongoing account management
● Strategic thinker able to manage territory with an entrepreneurial mindset
● Familiarity with prospecting in the enterprise space cross-vertically
● Passion for environmental and social impact
● Experience working with a CRM tool
● Sector experience working in recycling or IT a plus but not required
Where you’ll work:
You will be mainly based out of our facility in Brownsville and will frequently travel to client and networking events within metro New York.
What you’ll do:
DEVELOP SOURCING AND SALES
● Expand client network through sales campaigns including emails, calls and meetings
● Optimizing your time and managing your territory, generating high-quality leads with support through the sales cycle
● Negotiate contracts and provide after-sales support
● Keep track of KPIs
● Manage customer relations and develop the loyalty of the company's top clients
● Build a network of partners to maximize recurring sales
● Create feedback loop with marketing to identify new prospects

Compensation structure:
Fixed Salary: $65k/year plus performance-based bonuses
Salary plus draw commission guaranteed for first 3 months
Eligible for Health Benefits after 3-months.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
