Commission base Sales Associate

Who we are: 4 States Floor Coverings is a local, second generation, female owned and operated flooring store located in Joplin Missouri. We have been in business since 2012 and continue to make strides to expand and improve daily.

Requirements:

• Experience in flooring sales, installation knowledge a bonus.
• Above average math comprehension.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Self-motivated.
• Multi-tasking capabilities.
• Schedule oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Approach potential customers in and outside of the store.
• Build relationships with contractors and builders.
• Represent our store with a professional demeanor.
• Communicate with the installation team regarding job specifications and scheduling.
• Maintain your schedule as promised as well as work closely with the owner and her schedule.
• Occasionally open/ close store front and work for salary wage inside the store.

Compensations and schedule:

• Your income is solely based upon the amount of sales you are able to close.
• Commission percentage negotiable.
• Primarily the schedule is of one's own accord, in store hours are preplanned and discussed based on your schedule.
• PTO not offered; vacations and time off are at your discretion.

Location:

• Airport Village, Joplin, MO.
• Partially remote; cold calling, social media messaging, emailing of potential customers can be done from home or on the go.
• Personal office space available in store if desired.
• In person hours to be discussed.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• No weekends

• Flooring: 5 years (Required)
• Sales: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
