Position Summary
The Business Development Lead, Telematics Service Providers is responsible for enabling the commercialization of mobility solutions products and services through the creation and development of strategic partnerships and distribution channels, defining and executing the engagement and go-to-market strategy for establishing partnerships with Telematics Service Providers (TSPs) and key strategic customers. This includes partnerships for the launch of new tire-centric solutions, and partnerships that create distribution or enable capabilities of current and future mobility products. Additionally, the Business Development Lead will help to identify, characterize, and drive partnerships with TSPs related to non-traditional business models for core Bridgestone products.
Responsibilities
Owns definition and execution of the TSP and key customer engagement and go-to-market strategy for tire-centric solutions in coordination with other Bridgestone market entities.
Partners with Product Management on topics of product, pricing, and key partnership terms with TSPs for tire-centric solutions.
Owns partnership activities with TSPs that create distribution, or enable capabilities of current and future mobility products.
Serves as the business lead for contract negotiations with TSPs for all products within Mobility Solutions; manages TSP relationships post signature.
Responsible for gathering, and translating, Voice of Customer feedback into product requirements to drive future functionality and roadmap development.
Serves as the subject matter consultant for strategic customer integrations and support.
Partners with Bridgestone stakeholders and key account management to support the integration of Mobility Solutions products and services to current partners and customers.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of professional experience, with emphasis on sales, business development, or partnership.
3+ years of sales, business development, or partnership experience working directly with TSPs.
Experience managing an engagement funnel, including the definition and execution of an engagement and relationship strategy.
Experience managing complex partner or customer relationships.
Exceptional communication skills; comfortable developing content and driving leadership discussions, and effectively leading working teams
High-energy and self-directed
Ability to travel, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
MBA Preferred
Experience with connected vehicle products, or other IOT or mobility solutions
