About The Role:

Olive & June is looking for a highly motivated Retail Sales Analyst to support Olive & June’s retail business with analytics and reporting. This person will be responsible for building and maintaining key reporting and providing insights to impact our holistic retail initiatives. Responsibilities will include supporting the Walmart and Target retail and account teams in analyzing past and current business trends and identifying opportunities for future growth. The role will work closely with our brokers and external vendors, and our internal operations, finance, and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate is strategic, has high attention to detail, and can successfully build relationships across internal and external teams. Olive & June is a fast-paced, startup environment and we strive to hire self-starters who thrive in ambiguity and like to problem solve.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze retail sales data to identify trends, close gaps in inventory, forecast future sales, and identify opportunities to support sales growth
• Assist in monthly sales forecasts, annual budgeting, KPI creation, and compilation of retail P&Ls
• Maximize mass retail assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory to achieve budgeted sales growth
• Maintain data integrity for sales-related systems, implementing safeguards and validation rules when possible
• Produce and analyze ad-hoc and/or ongoing reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields and 3+ years of experience in an analytical role
• Expert knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Target and/or Walmart’s partner online systems, reporting, and processes
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• High level of organization and detail-orientation
• Orientation toward action and willingness to take initiative to implement new ideas and processes
• Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency and ability to problem solve
