Customer Service/Sales Representative

Allendan Seed Company, established in 1980, produces high quality native grass and wildflower seed. Our company is located on a farm northwest of Winterset Iowa. We are seeking a motivated individual with the ability to maintain and oversee general office duties and assist with processing sales orders.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for retail and wholesale customers
• Promptly serve customers that walk in or call in
• Manage office supplies, ordering as required
• Receive and process sales orders
• Compile various spreadsheets
• Create and maintain filing systems both electronic and physical
• Coordinates shipping by working with warehouse personnel and transportation vendors
• Contribute to team effort by assisting management and office personnel with various projects and tasks as needed

• Ability to work without supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Friendly, service-oriented personality
• Problem-solving and basic troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with common word processing and spreadsheet software
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
