Full description of the position

Garden state Diesel is the premier Diesel Fuel Injection and Turbocharger specialist in the tri-state area. We are looking for an individual for our Parts department in Counter Sales. This position is responsible for:

* Handle walk-in customer and telephone sales and determine customer needs for parts

* Maintain customer database and inventory levels.

* Order and receive in parts.

* Provide techs with work orders.

* Follow-up with customers for return of cores.

* Process credit as received.

* Various assignments as assigned.

* Generate sales through superb customer service and up-selling.

Skills needed:

Genuine enthusiasm for sales and dealing with customers a must.

Basic computer skills, Word, Excel, email. Knowledge of Truck and Industrial equipment parts us a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
