Full description of the position
Entertainment Technology Partners, LLC is the parent to a collection of exceptional brands in the live event, broadcast and entertainment technology services industry. A dynamic collection of like-minded businesses with a global reach, ETP is focused on building strong relationships and delivering high-quality experiences through technology, customer service and imagination.
The Director of Sales will establish and implement a business development strategy for the Show Services department, work processes and metrics to capture new business and expand existing business.
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:
- Sales/Business Development Plans: designs, implements and facilitates annual sales/business development plans; supports and facilitates development and implementation of business development plans for Show Services; strategizes and plans to facilitate business unit growth for Show Services.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Establishes metrics for business development that guide business in sales and marketing efforts.
- Recommends product/service positioning and packaging to produce the highest possible long-term market share. Ensures effective control of results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of business development objectives falls within designated budgets. Acts as the primary backup and support to the CEO for key client presentations.
- Business Development Budget: Plans and administers the Business Development budget in conjunction with the CEO. Meets budget goals and stewards over company resources responsibly. (Revenue Growth and Departmental).
- Oversee Business Development: Assists in the development of strategic planning for client presentations along with the support of the Marketing Manager. Offer coaching for prospective client meetings, presentations, etc.
- Develop and administer business development database: Include client and prospect information, mailing list applications, access to financial reports, etc.
- Manage Business Development department: coach and mentor team, and other sales professionals as necessary; develops customer profiles; manages sponsorships; identifies strategic accounts for Show Services division to solicit.
- Sales: responsible for generating 30-40% of leads.
Other duties and tasks may be assigned to meet business needs.

- Bachelors or better in Business Economics or related field.
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years: Director Level Experience.
- 7 years: Marketing and Business Development.
