A Sales Marketing Associate reports to the Regional Sales Directors responsible for booking convention group business and assist in Sales Promotions, Marketing and Events. Responsibilities include collaborating with Sales Director on securing and contracting group business through the different stages of the sales process, proposal and contract development.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma required. AA or BA College degree and/or additional education in clerical skills preferred.

· One-year hotel experience, hospitality or marketing experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft applications

including Word, Excel and Outlook.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent spelling ability.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Detail oriented.

· Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.

· Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast pace environment.

· Willing to take new tasks.

· Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
