As a key member of our collaborative team consisting of sales professionals, managers, designers, and builders, you will play a vital role in developing uniquely designed assembly, inspection, and test systems for industries that demand precision assembly for their components, including automotive, aerospace, defense, medical equipment, pharmaceutical, and industrial component manufacturers.
In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales, and project management, under the guidance of a mentor, to develop accurate concepts, proposals, and budgets for custom automation assembly systems. You will have the opportunity to establish and communicate customers' goals and objectives, facilitate concept and quote review meetings, and prepare project proposals and presentations. Additionally, you will provide design assistance throughout the project's design phase, attend internal design and brainstorming review meetings, and collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure effective communication.

Job Requirements:
- A.S. Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of custom automation and precision machining
- Experience with CAD software, such as Solidworks
- Proficiency in developing concepts and budgets for automation systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10-15% per year) accompanied by a senior engineer
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
