Property Manager for Short Term Rental Properties

Charlie Rents Vail/Beaver Creek (CRBC) is a boutique rental/property management company located in the Vail Valley.

As a Property Manager, you are in direct communication with our rental guests and owners as needed. Need to have a positive attitude, be all about the customer, and be very organized!

Requirements:

• Comfortable working independently and in person with guests and/or owners.
• Check-in our guests at a few specific properties (meet them upon arrival, show them where to park, and help them with their bags up to the condo).

Responsibilities:

• Rental Ready Preparation -Onboarding properties new to our rental program
• Weekly walk-through inspections - make sure homes are clean and maintained and "rental ready" for each guest
• Check-In Greetings - meet guests upon arrival.
• Concierge Services - provide guidance to guests.
• On call for emergency services
• Ability to put together e-blasts for marketing.
• Ability to put together a Pro Forma for potential new properties.
• Ability to research rental pricing of similar properties in the area and price our properties competitively.
• Be familiar with VRBO and Airbnb platforms (be able to onboard a new property, communicate with guests, etc)
• Check in package distribution - place guest packages in homes prior to arrival if needed.
• Cleaning oversight - communicate with the housekeeping team(s)
• Improvement oversight - provide relevant suggestions and support.

Position Requirements:

• 3 or more years in maintenance, property management, hospitality or otherwise relevant field. All applicable experience will be considered.
• Excellent communication
• Personable, willing, and able to interact with guests in a respectful and helpful manner.
• Need to own your own car and have a driver’s license
• Ability to manage their own schedule, identify priority tasks and execute tasks in a timely and effective manner
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required

Schedule Requirements:

• 5 days per week – Tuesday – Saturday (off on Sunday and Monday’s)
• Be available 8 am - 6 pm for texts or calls. Times flexible based on guest needs and business levels.
• Some holiday availability, primarily Christmas/New Year time period, MLK, Presidents Week, the month of March, Labor Day weekend, and 4th of July.

PTO:

• 14 paid days off in Late April/May and 14 paid days off in late October/Early November + 7 floating PTO days throughout the year (can't be used for holidays mentioned above).

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000 per year
