Full description of the position

Systems Innovation specializes in the permanent installation of world-class AV systems. Our markets include Higher Education Facilities, Religious Institutions, Government, Corporate Boardrooms & Event Spaces, and Experiential and Immersive Environments that include the use of Premium Audio, LED Display Environments, Projection, Theatrical Lighting, and Intelligent Programmed/Automated Control.

The Business Development Associate will create and build new business opportunities while sponsoring interaction to obtain projects and meet company revenue goals. Develop and strengthen Systems Innovation's exposure in local markets. Independent professional with strong ability to discover and grow business.

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Research, discover and develop new business opportunities.

  • Work with Account Executives and Account Representatives and participate throughout the client engagement life cycle.

  • Initiate, build and sustain client relationships, and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Stay updated on trends in the industry and marketing developments in this sector.

  • Regularly contact the key representative of target companies to become a preferred vendor.

  • Gather market intelligence and share the information in a timely manner.

  • Follow the developments with respect to the competition and provide feedback to the company.

  • Plan for business growth by identifying opportunities and pursuing them to successful closure.

  • Represent Systems Innovation through membership of local organizations and associations.


Base Salary Range: $72,000/yr to $107,000/yr This represents the low and high end of the company's base salary range for this position. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
