COMPENSATION

Earn while you learn with progressive salary increases up to $1,000.00 per week during the introductory training period. Post-training commission & bonus package includes:

• Commission draw advance with no draw deficit owed for negative balances.
• Commission earnings on every sale you make. When your commission earnings exceed your draw, you are paid the overage the following month.
• Monthly sales bonus

POSITION DETAILS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sales of cabinetry and kitchen & bath products to both retail clients and over 4,000 established home remodeling dealer accounts.
• Design and layout of kitchen & bath home remodeling projects
• Selling is your focus. Lead generation, vendor follow-up, measuring, delivery scheduling, and after-sale service are all managed by separate specialized departments.
• All selling is done in the showroom. No outside selling or cold call selling.
• Four to five-day workweek, 38-42 hours per week. Permanent rotating sales schedule includes a three-day weekend off every third week.
• Utilize Consumers' proven sales techniques to assess and satisfy client needs.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout each stage of the sale

CORPORATE TRAINING PROGRAM

• Nine week technical and sales training program includes in-class and on-the-job training.
• Earn $800 per week throughout the nine-week training program and $1,000.00 per week for the 12 weeks following the training program.
• Certificate course given by NY Kitchen & Bath Design Institute located at Corporate Headquarters in Yaphank.
• All course materials supplied.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Energetic, with a strong focus on customer service
• Retail sales experience preferred
• Self-motivation
• An aptitude for sales and leadership
• A positive attitude and exceptional personality
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of Windows-based operating system and Internet functions
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of retail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
