Full description of the position

What you get to do:

We would position this person as the “face” of youth for our company and lean on the candidate to:

  • Own all things youth for SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Discovery Cove.
  • Represent all SEA Brands at key national industry events (i.e., SYTA).
  • Gather feedback from SEA Parks to establish “best practices” and provide council to sister parks in terms of opportunity and recommendations based on experience.
  • Manage all youth and education segments by establishing strategic planning initiatives for the Orlando Parks (SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove).
  • Responsible for driving attendance and ancillary revenue, program development/execution, and marketing strategies for all youth business segments by working in collaboration with park Sales & Marketing leadership, internal stakeholders, and key accounts.
  • Will represent SEA in key industry organizations, including where possible Board or Committee positions of influence, at trade shows and other events focused on the youth markets where broad representation is possible and recommended.


What it takes to succeed:


Responsible for growing overall youth segment revenue by:

  • Identifying and leveraging new business opportunities while optimizing the portfolio of youth programs that already exist.
  • Supporting business growth by developing and implementing marketing strategies including communication planning, channel strategies and brand management to ensure brand consistency across all parks as possible (including marketing materials, program logos, website content, etc…).
  • Work with Revenue Management to establish and manage pricing for youth products in relation to the overall pricing hierarchy.
  • Position the SEA brands with key accounts and student tour operators to identify and capture new business opportunities resulting in increased revenue across the enterprise.
