Job Summary:

The Business Development Associate will work with our existing Sponsor/Contract Research Organization (CRO) clients. Follow up on leads generated through various marketing channels, such as email campaigns, webinars, trade shows, or other online marketing initiatives. The primary role of a Business Development Associate is to identify potential business opportunities and new relationships. This can be a hybrid/remote position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conducting market research to identify potential sponsors and study leads

• Contacting potential sponsors and leads via phone, email or other communication channels to introduce the company’s services

• Qualifying leads by assessing their needs, interests and budget.

• Creating and delivering sales presentations to prospective sponsors.

• Answering inquiries and providing information about the company’s services

• Obtaining RFPs and facilitating the completion of Feasibility questionnaires.

• Collaborating to develop and implement sales strategies

• Maintaining accurate and up to date customer information in the company’s CRM system

• Meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals

• Collate, log in CRM, and follow up on incoming from external BD references

• Retrieve relevant information from protocol to present to clinical team

• Breakdown protocol to pull appropriate information to present tp clinical

• Filter studies to appropriate PI based on indication

• Collaborate with clinical operations team regarding trial opportunities

• Liaison of necessary awarded trial information to Regulatory, Contracts and Clinical team

• Document trail milestones within set time parameters within sales tracking tool.(SF)

• Attend site selection visits and record important data needed for study start

• Provide weekly/biweekly sales activity updates to management team

• Develop a strong understanding of site capabilities to present to potential sponsors and leads.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare or a related field Required.

• 1 year experience with Customer Relationship Management and discipline.

• Clinical Research or Medical work experience preferred.

• Salesforce experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
