Mangum’s Inside Sales Rep is the personal link between customers and the heavy hauling division of Mangum’s Inc. The Inside Sales Rep is a dual role of sales and project management. The Inside Sales Rep will help qualify customers, and develop lasting, professional relationships with prospective customers. The Inside Sales Rep will quote and manage transportation projects by understanding Mangum’s Inc equipment and how it relates to customer’s project requests. The Inside Sales Rep will understand load master services to create a plan of action for each awarded project. The Inside Sales Rep will obtain permitting, engage civilian and police escorts, and problem solve issues. To help them succeed, our company provides commitment, support, and industry-leading information and customer relationship management tools to our sales reps.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a sales coordinator or project manager within the transportation industry, strong communication skills, and a personal drive to succeed. A current driver's license with a good driving record is a must. Knowledge of the local construction market, experience using CRM program, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and territory and project management skills would be a plus.
Job Requirements:
· Understand the complete business model of Mangum’s Inc.
· Demonstrate exceptional integrity and strength of character in all aspects of personal and professional life
· Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships.
· Follow leads provided by management.
· Establish and expand marketing territories.
· Facilitate the completion of acquired business.
· Understand transport laws and requirements.
· Quote transportation projects
· Work directly with customers, Mangum’s Inc operations team and drivers
· Assist in accomplishing the goals of management.
· Maintain a log of potential and current customers that have been contacted
· Remain accessible at all times.
· Prepare monthly reports of progress and forecasts.
· Prepare sales plan (outline) for management.
· Visit and assist with house accounts when needed.
· Travel overnight when needed.
· Prepare and submit a monthly expense report (lunch, breakfast, customer promotional, costs, etc..) with management pre-approval.
· Report to and communicate with assigned sales mentor.
· Review Sales and Commission Reports with Sr. Account Manager monthly
· Observe price structure set by management.
· Review aging of accounts and assist in collections when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time- This is a Wilson, NC based position at Mangum’s Inc corporate office
Pay: Base Salary starting at $45,000 plus a monthly commission structure
