Roving Community Manager
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing team managing a mix of exciting multifamily projects in the greater Seattle region. The main responsibility of the Roving Community Manager is to be the team leader in customer service, resident retention, staff management, and daily operations. They will strive to create the best beginning-to-end living experience and the highest standards of customer service at each of our communities. In addition, they will work alongside the Asset Management team and Regional Manager in staff training and improvement of management systems. All our properties are owner-managed and in Seattle or Bellevue.
Community Management Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance during staffing deficiencies and emergencies.
- Assist with leasing duties as needed, approve leases, audit resident files.
- Collect rent and manage the delinquencies and collections follow-up.
- Manage lease terminations and evictions, if necessary.
- Ensure quality unit and property appearance, including conducting of apartment and community inspections.
- Assist in managing maintenance scope of work, work orders, purchase orders, and turnovers.
- Submit various weekly and monthly reports on time.
- Maintain positive resident relations through superior customer service. Reaffirm the sense of community and promote resident retention.
- Handle conflicts with both residents and fellow employees.
Asset Management Responsibilities:
- Assist in the training and management of leasing and maintenance staff.
- Assist in the improvement of community management procedures and systems.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing plans.
- Assist in the planning and execution of Capital Projects as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Regional Manager or Asset Management team.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED 3+ years of experience managing multi-family properties and 5+ years in the real estate industry.
- REQUIRED High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good working knowledge of landlord-tenant laws.
- Compliance with all Fair Housing & Equal Housing Opportunity Requirements.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Must be able to maintain a regular schedule which may require working overtime, weekends, and non-traditional holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
