Regional Account Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic sales professional to serve as a key point of contact for our dealers and distributors. The ideal candidate is a strong new business prospector who is technically inclined and versed in solution-oriented B2B sales. Must have 1 - 2 years experience with outbound calling and a record of delivering results. Prior experience in the material handling and storage industry is a plus but not required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build stronger relationships with current dealers, positioning Valley Craft as a preferred supplier.
• Recruit and develop new dealers to represent and feature our products.
• Educate dealers (and their sales teams) on our product offerings, features, benefits and competitive advantages.
• Meet and exceed annual growth targets through sales to established accounts and by cultivating new dealer and distributor relationships.
• Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of VCI’s products.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of marketplace, competitive offerings, and other relevant business issues.
• Work tradeshows as needed
• Meet and exceed key daily activity metrics and monthly sales targets.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4 Year Degree
• 3- 5 years inside sales experience.
• Proven record of consistently hitting aggressive outbound call objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion, influence, and negotiation
• Strong business acumen.
• Excellent PC and internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, and web presentation applications.
• Experience with consultative, solution-based selling is a plus.
• Experience in material handling and storage industry is a plus.
