SUMMARY
The Delivery Specialist completes the customer experience of buying a vehicle by educating the customer on their new vehicle all while delivering exceptional customer service. The position is best suited for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in cars and/or technology and has a friendly demeanor. Good customer service skills are a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following; other related duties may be assigned:
- Ensures that each Honda World customer receives a fully prepped, showroom condition vehicle
- Follows Honda’s criteria for “The Perfect Delivery”
- Applies active listening skills and tools to ensure customer-driven questions are answered
- Educates the customer on features and benefits of the vehicle that are most important to the customer and makes sure that he/she understands the entire vehicle’s operating features
- Follows all components of dealership procedure as defined by the Honda World Quality Delivery Checklist.
- Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
- Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership service department
- Portrays an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to disseminate information to a customer in order to educate customers on the features of their vehicles
- Must demonstrate to management the ability to make timely and accurate decisions
- Must be able to demonstrate the features of all vehicles which may require teaching, pressing, crouching and manual dexterity
- Must be able to work around peak times. Such as nights and weekends
- Must maintain appearance and behaviors as described in the Honda World Culture Training
