The Holiday Inn Express and Suites - Madison Central has an exciting opportunity to join our sales team as the Group Sales Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic individual with a successful track record in sales management. This position is responsible for the group market and will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications:
- Administer all targets and prepare and implement plans for all new businesses and manage contracts.
- Ensure optimal use of all management techniques and negotiate room rates to increase company profits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with sales staff and organize files for all clients and employers.
- Perform research and conduct surveys on the marketplace and analyze industry strengths and weaknesses.
- Determine all reports as required by organizations, prepare the same and participate in various trade shows for the organization.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all new and prospective customers and monitor all activities for sales calls.
- Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses and prepare organization strategies to cater to all.
- Evaluate and select prospective accounts to increase business and revenue for the organization.
- Establish an efficient relationship with customers and develop new markets for new existing accounts.
- Analyze all businesses and recommend effective strategies to impact all businesses.
- Organize various sales trips for all tradeshows in coordination with the sales and marketing department.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of hotel sales experience is required.
- The candidate will have a high level of energy combined with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a zest for sales.
- The ability and desire to conduct successful outside sales activities are required.
- The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and possess an outgoing personality in order to better promote the hotel within the community.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
