Johnny Was California is looking to hire an extremely motivated and talented sales individual with impeccable multi-tasking and organizational skills based in our Los Angeles showroom. An ideal candidate is results-driven with a minimum of 3 years + experience in the Women's Wholesale market.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Road travel, trade show travel, market travel
  • Prospect new accounts and retain new clients
  • Manage current accounts in respective territory and grow territories and sales
  • Growth of existing account base
  • High volume of follow up, prompt courteous and professional customer service
  • Innate ability to drive sales and close deals
  • Account research to ensure distribution is increasing season over season
  • Processing orders from start to finish: Order entry-via JOOR, RA’s/swaps and customer service
  • Proven sales track record with current wholesale buyer contacts in the women's Contemporary market
  • Stellar references
  • Knowledge of the West Coast and other territories throughout the U.S. for women's Contemporary Apparel
  • Self-motivated and result oriented
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • A team player who is reliable and has a positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in JOOR, Excel, Dropbox
Qualifications are required for consideration:
  • Proven sales track record with current wholesale buyer contacts in the women's Contemporary market

Additional Information:
  • Ability to lift/move heavy boxes
  • Ability to drive large van
  • Willing to occasionally work weekends for special events
  • Willing to travel domestically (trade shows, store visits)
Compensation: $24.05/hour to 31.25/hour plus bonus
