We are representing a well-established produce distributor that is searching for a Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a large portfolio of current customer partnerships. You will be accountable to attain budgeted sales goals through existing business growth and closing new business.

Position Responsibilities Include

• Be the salesperson, the trouble shooter, and the answer for customer needs.
• Train customers to enter orders into our industry software online.
• Attain sales budgets as assigned on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Get customer “touches in person and via telephone. Recommend promotional products and new products to grow your customers.
• Understand your Audience: Develop and maintain pricing structures that make sense for our business.
• Recommend service improvements, by being an expert in your area.
• Selling quality food to existing and new accounts within your territory.

Position Requirements

• • A self-starter with a competitive personality and a sales background.
• • College degree or equivalent education and/or experience preferred.
• • Excellent sales skills
• • Strong planning, communication & organizing ability.
• • Outside sales experience or industry experience with a proven record of success
• • A valid state driver’s license, ability to be insured, bonded and a satisfactory driving record along with reliable transportation (reimbursable) is required.

Compensation: DOE, Bonus, Benefits, 401K, Car Allowance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
