Summary/Objective
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with employees involved in the order fulfillment process.

Essential Functions

- Maintain files and follow up on all customer quotes.
- Enter customer orders into Sales Pad.
- Provides timely and accurate information on customer order status and product knowledge requests.
- Follows up on orders in various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure delivery by specified dates.
- Informs customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
- Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
- Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit issues.
- Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
- Compiles statistics and prepares various reports for management.
- Direct customer inquiries on product specifications and applications to appropriate engineer / division.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. A moderate level of interaction with coworkers on the manufacturing floor will be required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 3 years prior customer service experience
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
Preferred Education and Experience
- 3 – 5 years prior customer service experience
- Prior experience in the microelectronics’ industry
