Canvassing/Inspector

Amazing Restoration is a small family-owned construction company that has been helping families with their home exterior needs since 2006. Our professionalism and company standards have earned us a 5-Star reputation in the communities we serve. We are a credited by the BBB, and fully bonded and insured company.

We are currently looking for entry level and/or experienced canvassers, sales representatives/inspectors to join our company.

General roofing/siding knowledge preferable but not necessary. Full training will be provided for the right candidates.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Canvassing neighborhoods to initiate contact and generate leads.
• Creating and maintaining professionally beneficial relationships with current and future clients.
• Contacting necessary parties for payment status.
• Working hand in hand with customers and/ or insurance companies
• Generate leads by setting up free in-home inspections.
• Leaving a company flier on the door of homes that have potentially sustained damage

Being a canvasser/sales representative requires someone who enjoys being outside in all types of weather. Someone who is willing to put in the hard work necessary to hit the goals and be a people person. This hard work is what will give you the opportunity to move up within the company - There is room to grow here!

Requirements:

• Similar canvassing experience with construction trades, however not required.
• Excellent customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence and self-discipline to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills and processes.
• Goal oriented with effective time management skills.
• Positive team player with good organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with minimal supervision.
• Ability to comfortably walk and canvass door-to-door.
• Valid US Driver License
• Reliable transportation

Compensation:

• Commission pay.
• A flexible work schedule, and part-time employment may be available if this is better suited for you.
• This is a seasonal position, however full-time yearly employment and advancement within the company can be made available to qualifying candidates.

Shop located at 2006 West Elgin Rd,Rt 25, Carpentersville, IL 60110, however, traveling up to 45 minutes to canvass specific locations might be required.
