What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for leading and managing a team of Facilities Account Developers to capture opportunities with complex and high touch prospects.
- Actively manage Facilities opportunity pipeline as identified by working 1:1 with Facilities Account Developers to assist with opportunity prioritization and strategy development, coaching, and facilitating issue resolution updates for existing customers and prospects.
- Conducts regular weekly 1-1's with sellers to provide sales coaching and call calibration aligned with Staples & Facilities Sales Methodology (PSS).
- Develop penetration strategies alongside selling partners to maximize attainment of largest opportunities.
- Responsible for making decisions that inform a deal including pricing guidelines, contract negotiation, and margin.
- Partner and collaborate with internal support teams such as Implementations, Bid & Quote, and Merchandising to assist sellers with program execution.
- Maintain relationships with regional selling partners that includes pipeline reviews, industry updates, and training.
- Collaborate and strategize with key industry vendor partners.
- Participate in continuous Facilities (Jan/San, Breakroom, and Safety) education training.
- Execute on hiring and HR related associate tasks including onboarding and continuous training.

- High level of business acumen including data analysis
- Strong communication skills – written & verbal.
- Advanced selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Drive! Results oriented.
Qualifications :
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 + years previous related experience
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a sales team
- Proficient computer skills: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- CRM experience - Salesforce
