Skuid Professional Services

Skuid's Professional Services team is responsible for developing solutions for customers. In addition, this team assists the sales team with pre-sales demos, prototypes, and assessments of customer use cases. The team is also responsible for helping educate new Skuid users to get ramped up and use Skuid quickly through knowledge transfer and formal training delivery.

As a Solutions Engineer on the Professional Services team, you will develop interfaces that save people time and radically improve their experiences using their enterprise applications.

Whether it’s optimizing the application experience for job candidates, streamlining HCM applications for employees, or making it easier for students to register for courses, Skuid is driving change across multiple industries and affecting the work lives of millions of end-users. In this role, you will work alongside a growing team of designers and Front-end developers who are talented and passionate about what they do and by leveraging standard technologies and frameworks, the work you do will extend and deepen your skills.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and with engineering, design, and account team members to build solutions for our clients.
• Modernize front-end systems to enable rapid UI development and iteration.
• Design and develop exceptional user experiences & solutions, following customer requirements in the expected timeframes.
• Develop custom solutions as needed to fulfill requirements.
• Push technology forward, challenge established thinking and discover new ways of approaching (and solving) problems.
• Help scope and estimate work for business development teams.
• Support current client implementations by fixing UI issues and underlying system integrations.
• Understand customer challenges and requirements and offer solutions.

Qualifications

Required

• A university degree or a college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

• Hands-on experience using:
• JavaScript and TypeScript
• Develop and maintain Angular web applications using Bootstrap 3 and 4+
• A strong understanding of Angular principles and features (we primarily use Angular 12+)

• JavaScript unit tests (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Karma)
• In-depth knowledge of SASS/SCSS
• Knowledge of CSS3/jQuery selectors

• You enjoy working closely with back-end developers and UI designers.
• You have a genuine interest in people, solutions and technology. The ability to present a solution that will change the customers’ everyday lives .
• You are self-motivated and can work under tight timelines. You are driven to do whatever it takes to exceed customer expectations.
• You want to work with and introduce best practices focusing on user experience.
• You can work with internal and external groups at any level, concisely relaying written and oral information.

• Node.js and npm
