Through the primary responsibilities of positioning our products and services with a powerful value proposition, closing prospects, establishing new distribution channels, and building influential partnerships, you will bring new life to an organization’s health plan. We work with clients in all areas of the U.S., and this position will have some travel requirements depending on client assignments and opportunities. At Milliman we strive to deliver the best products and services so that people can live for today and plan for tomorrow with confidence. We are looking for someone to partner with us in that mission.

Who we are looking for:

  • Trend-setters. Innovation is at the core of our DNA, and that stems from the work ethic of our people. We leverage our experience, client feedback and technology to change the landscape of health insurance with new and extraordinary ideas.
  • Future leaders. We take the time to invest in our people and encourage them to deepen skillsets and broaden abilities. We will always have new opportunities and responsibilities for those who want to assume them.
  • Relationship builders. We are fanatical about serving our customers leading to their success. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills to create dynamic relationships, both internally and externally
  • Confident professionals. We aim for 100% in everything we do which means being accurate, on-time and on-point for our customer’s needs, while maintaining a professional image consistent with Milliman’s brand.

Milliman Omaha is an office of intelligent, hard-working, creative minds and we are anything but corporate. Our unique structure allows for the best of both worlds: a flexible local office that recognizes individual value within a large, national firm that gives stability and structure. We offer an environment conducive to building strong relationships, while allowing independence for each person to gage their success. This position will be required to work in our Omaha office.

What’s your role:

  • As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be a professional who consults with clients to learn more about their needs, answer questions, provide system demos and solutions to specific scenarios.
  • You will work in a team environment to support new sales opportunities by scheduling meetings with warm leads (no cold calling) and provide online system demos.
  • You will help convert pre-qualified sales leads and generate new business with pre-existing customers and follow-up with clients to ensure an excellent customer service experience.
  • Working in a collaborative environment, you will have opportunities to train and support the Sales Team to better understand product features while serving as a subject matter expert on our deliverables.
  • Develop new processes and procedures to gain efficiency in presenting our products\services to clients while leveraging new tools to present to larger audience.
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement to support larger accounts while continuing to expand your reach within the existing book of business.

Qualifications:

  • S. or B.A.
  • GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Previous experience within sales, marketing, or insurance preferred but not required.
