Make sure to include both the job title and location of the job if you email me directly. *** Permanent, full-time job ( direct hire ) offering W2 compensation with full benefits and relocation assistance *** Job location: on site in one of the following locations - Melbourne, FL or Pittsburgh, PA or Rochester, NY or Toronto, ON, Canada Bid Manager ( Proposal Manager / Tender Manager ) : - Manage bids preparation to prepare and submit a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. - Responsible for managing the bid process from the receipt of the request for proposal ( RFP ) to the tender transfer to the execution team. - Analyze the request for proposal and define the bid operational strategy considering the commercial strategy. - Responsible for driving the proposal development strategy and ensuring all resources are aligned to the client’s requirements looking for the best balance between execution excellence and competitiveness. - Propose Project Contractual Organization, partnership/consortium strategies and external system purchases - QCD ( Quality, Cost, Delivery ) after having reviewed the complete bid with the bid core team. - After bid submission, remain involved through the contract negotiation and signature. - Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes. - Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Tax, Insurance to delivered optimized Price, Cash Curve and Price List - Identify, analyze, and register the risks and saving opportunities, evaluate and control tender budget. - Pro-actively follow the customer negotiations and evolution of the offer and communicate on the changes, re-launch the approval process after having analyzed the QCD impact of the changes - This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It requires strong people management, Project management and commercial skills.
