Title: Medicare Lead Specialist

Position Summary:

The Healthcare Insurance Services (HIS) Medicare Lead Specialist is responsible for engaging Allsup’s SSDI claimants upon their date of entitlement to Medicare due to disability or age. The Specialist will contact leads by telephone, gain an understanding of their Medicare needs, and transfer them to Medicare agency vendors for plan enrollment. Your focus will be on creating a positive, lasting impression through excellent customer service, education, sales and relationship building techniques.

You will need to have:

• 1-2 years of sales experience.
• Medicare knowledge a plus.
• Experience in a customer service related field or two years of post-secondary education or higher.
• Ability to close leads over the phone.
• Willingness to learn and be coached to sell.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and have a great attention to detail.
• A high level of initiative and drive to succeed.

This position offers:

• Base salary plus commission

• Remote work – approx. 1 day per month in the office
