POSITION SUMMARY:

Vice President of Account Management is responsible for creating long-term, high trust relationships with our clients for the purpose of maximizing revenue and profit growth. The position manages a critical standalone corporate function with major organizational impact. The Vice President of Account Management plans client retention and account management strategies designed to increase and retain revenue, oversees a portfolio of assigned client accounts, develops new business from existing clients, and actively seeks new sales opportunities.

We are looking for an influential sales and business development leader with demonstrated history of delivering effective, client-focused solutions. The successful candidate will maintain meticulous attention to detail while keeping a sharp focus on the big picture. Proven ability to execute at the strategic and tactical level is also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Management

• Develop high trust advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Execute high-level correspondence and communication with clients
• Oversee account management activities, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
• Provide new business support and help drive client growth
• Act as main liaison for day-to-day contact with clients regarding strategy and overall business
• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
• build strong partnerships with key senior level and operational stakeholders
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
• Anticipate key account change and improvement needs

Functional Oversight

• Provide leadership and direction to account management team; exemplify high standards of client care, and provide helpful and productive guidance
• Coordinate meetings, organize training sessions, lead client briefings
• Work closely with senior management with respect to client strategy
• Coach Account Management team in resolving escalated customer service issues
• Ensure all Client and Account Facing services are provided in a consistent and timely manner
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in business, sales or relevant field
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in agency and/or account management
• Experience in either a media buying agency or integrated marketing team preferred
• Affinity/direct response marketing background a plus
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
• Proven C-level communication, presentation and negotiation experience
• People-centric teambuilder, team leader, coach and mentor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
