We are looking to hire a parts sales representative to join our Heavy Duty Truck parts store- Great Lakes Truck & Equipment Parts in Grant, MI. We are looking for someone who is flexible and a team player. This position requires someone who is able to complete administrative duties and paperwork as well as jump in and help customers as needed.
Candidate must have experience selling parts, preferably heavy duty truck parts but will consider automotive parts sales as well. Candidate will be expected to be polite and display great customer service to all customers coming in to the store. This job will require sourcing parts from vendors to find what customer needs.
Employee will be responsible for other tasks as well including invoicing, sending out statements, receiving payments, inventory, and stocking parts as needed. Candidate must be proficient with using computers as they are required for this job.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to complete tasks on their own without significant guidance. Basic procedures must be followed and work completed in a reasonable amount of time. Some lifting and time on your feet are required. Candidate may be asked to pick up/ deliver parts when needed.
Store is open Monday-Friday 8-5 and 8-noon on saturdays. We would prefer someone able to work an occasional Saturday morning. Pay based on experience, willing to pay more for more knowledge.
