This full-time position will oversee a fast-paced, scattered-site project-based Section 8 community. The position will entail a variety of managerial duties.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – duties include but are not limited to:
· Oversee multi-site apartment buildings without on-site resident managers
· Supervision and daily communication with the maintenance technicians and on-site resident representatives
· Annual recertification’s, EIV discrepancies and monthly voucher submittals
· Inspect apartment buildings regularly and monthly
· Address concerns of current and prospective residents in a professional, timely and friendly manner.
· Maintain high occupancy levels and ensure resident satisfaction
· Timely collection of rent and meeting financial goals.
· Respond to resident repair requests and ensure work orders are generated and scheduled expeditiously.
· Issue a range of legal notices and letters
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and current proof of auto insurance required. Must be able to use own vehicle to transport self to different property sites.
· 3 years experience in Property Management with project-based Section 8 housing and/or Tax Credit background. In addition, managing multi-site communities is required.
· A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
· Qualified applicants must be bi-lingual in English/Spanish.
· Basic computer knowledge to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook; Yardi software experience is a plus!
· Frequent walking, bending and climbing stairs; Regular exposure to outside weather conditions.
· Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
· Typing required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
