CSR/Agency Producer working for a Farmers Insurance agency. You would assist prospective and existing customers, in both Personal & Commercial lines, with getting the products and/or services they need.

• · Active CA Property & Casualty Insurance license
• · Ability to pass a background check.
• · Previous experience working in the insurance industry.
• · Strong written and verbal skills
• · Professional phone etiquette.
• · Experience with a variety of computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• · Comprehensive knowledge of coverage lines and policy forms

Responsibilities

CORE JOB DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

• · Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• · Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity.
• · Meet with prospective customers.
• · Meet with existing customers to perform policy reviews.
• · Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• · Answer inbound phone requests from customers about service-related product information and inquiries.
• · Assist customers/clients via phone and email regarding pricing inquiries.
• · Negotiate contracts and handle paperwork (e.g. invoices, orders)
• · Address clients' questions/concerns by performing as a direct liaison between the clients and the company.
• · Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
• · Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products and/or services.
• · Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative will work with a wide variety of customers while managing our existing accounts. We are specifically looking for an energetic, goal-driven person with excellent communication and computer skills. Attention to detail, excellent phone etiquette, positive attitude and professionalism are important factors required. Customer service experience is a plus. This position involves a high degree of flexibility and multi-tasking and must be cross-trainable to perform other departmental tasks.
