Job Description As a Sales Regional Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales and growth of EnviroSpark's EV charging solutions across a designated region. You will lead a team of sales representatives and collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop and implement sales strategies. Your goal will be to build strong relationships with key customers, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth in the assigned region.
- Manage and oversee Outside Sales Representatives, Inside Sales Representatives, and Sales Support Teams assigned to your region.
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including businesses, municipalities, and other organizations, to understand their needs and promote EnviroSpark's EV charging solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and target accounts within the region, conducting market research and analysis to understand customer requirements and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and installation, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas as set by management, tracking and reporting on sales performance and pipeline activity.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to EV charging infrastructure, providing insights and recommendations to the team and senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote EnviroSpark and expand the customer base.
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to potential customers, highlighting the benefits of EV charging infrastructure and addressing their specific needs.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitors, and customer strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to provide input on customer preferences and market demand, contributing to product and service enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 5-7 years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in the EV or related industry.
- Previous experience in a sales management or leadership position, demonstrating the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and value propositions to customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify customer pain points and develop innovative solutions.
- Results-driven mindset, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure and related technologies, as well as industry regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with CRM software and tools for sales pipeline management and reporting.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or a related field preferred.
