Summary:
We are seeking a driven sales professional with 2+ years of proven success in achieving sales targets in the industrial automation industry. Leverages exceptional communication abilities and technical expertise to educate and persuade manufacturing clients on solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. Excels at new business development through prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing an assigned territory. Builds strong customer relationships and acts as a trusted advisor to generate new sales and repeat business. Collaborates cross-functionally to deliver positive brand experiences that lead to lasting partnerships. Maintains a robust sales pipeline and detailed records in our CRM system. Can travel to client facilities and job sites when required. Maintains current knowledge of programmable logic controllers, robotics, motion controls, conveyor systems, and machine vision systems to provide consultative sales. Core strengths in presentation, negotiation, account management, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and forecast sales pipelines.
· Develop new business by identifying potential clients, initiating contact, and building strong relationships.
· Develop expertise in the company's industry-specific trades, and technical services to provide solutions-based selling.
· Attend industry trade shows and events to showcase products, generate leads, and expand customer network.
· Build and maintain sales records and activity reports in our CRM system.
· Travel to customer locations and job sites as needed.
· Work closely with our estimation team to develop quotes and proposals detailing costs, delivery timelines, terms, and conditions.
· Provide input on product development based on customer needs and market demands.
· Lead project kickoff meetings for new jobs to review proposals, discuss project scope, and specifications, and establish delivery timelines.
· Create dedicated folders on the customer base server for each new client to store relevant documents, correspondence, and project details.
Qualifications:
· Be able to demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills to persuade clients to purchase products/services.
· Be able to manage an assigned territory, identify potential customers, initiate contact, and develop new business opportunities.
· Must leverage negotiation abilities to reach mutually beneficial sales agreements with clients.
· Must maintain in-depth knowledge of our industrial products and services to educate clients on solutions that suit their needs.
· Must be able to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and positive brand experience.
· Foster positive ongoing client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to generate repeat sales.
· 2+ years in an outside sales role

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
