Full description of the position

We currently have an opening for a Field Support Specialist in the Nashville, TN area. This positions area of responsibility for coverage will be the areas of South Nashville, Bellevue and Dickson in TN.

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability via specific merchandising protocols at all designated accounts; as well as, responsible for running open sales routes, and assisting BDT Beverage in different job duties as they arise.

Job Responsibilities include:

1. Maintain appropriate product levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts including shelf allocation and cold equipment.

2. Build and maintain product displays in compliance with company standards.

3. Backroom organization.

4. Ensure Point of Sale material is placed on shelves and displays.

5. Maintain a timely and accurate call schedule.

6. Establish and maintain a rapport with store personnel.

7. Team with Account Managers and GPS to service accounts within requirements.

8. Identify and communicate individual store problems and opportunities to the appropriate BDT representative.

9. Have call sheet signed by store management.

10. Perform other related duties as assigned.

11. Maintenance and cleaning of all company equipment

12. Run open routes (vacations, sick, personal days), adhering to the following:

· Maintain updated, organized files on all accounts in assigned territory (keep route books up-to- date and ensure accounts are efficiently routed in Encompass software).

· Complete, check for accuracy, and submit sales reports and invoices/DSD copies daily (all charge invoices must be signed).

· Inventory control and daily reconciliation. Deposit all money daily.

· Provide excellent customer service by following up on all commitments and addressing “call-ins” immediately.

· Ensure proper distribution of all SKU’s and merchandise accounts to specified standards.

· Must perform 1st invoice by 6:00 A.M.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Maintain sales vehicle and all other provided equipment per company requirements.

13. Assist Account Managers on routes.

14. Merchandise accounts to specified standards.

15. Delivery and setup of cold equipment.

16. Assist Warehouse Manager (loading and unloading trucks, stacking and staging pallets, making bulk deliveries).

17. Maintain all company equipment (proper maintenance, and cleaning).

18. Adhere to company policies and each customer's site policies related to Covid-19 safety. Including utilizing provided PPE and following sanitizing protocols set forth by BDT Beverage and our customers.

Physical Requirements include:

  • ability to consistently lift/carry up to 50lbs
  • ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, climb
