Full description of the position

The purpose of the Senior Sales Associate is to act as a new business liaison, provide products/services information to current and future customers, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities:

• ·People person, comfortable on the phone and in-person settings
• Results oriented with a focus on hitting their productivity numbers each day
• Cold calling new accounts each day while following up with previous warm leads
• Primary escalation point for customer related issues, an ability to handle intense situations with care is preferred
• Develop a customer strategy for all accounts, find profitable growth opportunities, and manage all accounts
• Work with accounts payable on any freight billing issues to keep your accounts current
• Become a consultative resource for all accounts through service offerings, market trends, and pricing.
• Contribute to a team setting and accomplish the desired goals efficiently
• Timely email response and follow up
• Achieve sales margin and consistent revenue.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to problem solve, resolve conflict, and multi-task
• Capacity to analyze and retain information
• Proficient documentation skills
• Intermediate level in Microsoft Office; Google Suite
• Familiarity with phone systems and computer software platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
