Come join our rapidly growing Millworks division of Frontier Building Supply! This position will float to all of our Whidbey Island stores; Oak Harbor, Coupeville and Freeland.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for the sale of Millwork products throughout a specific region.

90% of the role is based in an office and 10% would be traveling to job sites.

Pay: $20 to $22.50 (depending on experience) + a commission % paid on the 2nd check of each month, $ car stipend and $ cell phone stipend and more!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develops and increases sales revenue to meet sales and margin goals.
• Develop and expand customer base.
• Meet with customers to discuss project needs.
• Prepares, maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
• Total operational use of software/hardware for the purpose of point of sale, order entry and maintenance and inventory control.
• Working knowledge of store and company procedures relating to stock, sales, returns, delivery, invoicing, special orders, receiving, transfer that enable proper coordination of the store services to customer.
• Requires ability to extend and complete quotes, source and price products and materials, provide product availability and shipping information in a timely manner.
• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and maintaining outstanding standards.
• Maintain an awareness of all product information and merchandise promotions.
• Perform job-site visits to measure for product, ensure delivery and timely completion.
• Adhere to all company procedures and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years customer service/sales experience required; construction, windows, or doors.
• Building code knowledge preferred
• Good written, communication and math skills required
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills required
• Proven computer knowledge and experience required
• Valid drivers license and good driving record, to be insurable
