Now Hiring - Cannabis Regional Sales Rep in Kalamazoo, MI

TreeTown is now hiring a highly creative, outgoing, and organized Sales Rep to build and foster strong relationships with cannabis retailers. The Sales rep will be responsible for increasing distribution and sales volumes in their assigned region.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for selling in High End products & programs to the assigned retailer route.
• Responsible for increasing distribution and volume.
• Build relationships with local dispensary team(s): ordering managers, budtenders, merchandiser, team leads, etc.
• Utilize sales history, data tools, and competitive activity to manage territory and retailers.
• Promote and build brand awareness of assigned portfolio.
• Support the execution of events and promotional activities – sampling, vendor days, training (may include evenings and weekends)
• Review target account analysis and reports to ensure brands are performing at the top of class levels for all assigned accounts.
• Ensure product is properly priced and is compliant.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• A valid Michigan driver’s license and have a reliable means of transportation.
• Familiarity of their local market - both from a navigational and social/networking standpoint.
• Must follow and comply with established procedures, including health, safety and sanitation standards, including knowledge and adherence of federal, state, and local cannabis laws.
• Willing and able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• 1-3 years of experience in Distribution, Outside Sales, Food/Beverage/cannabis, or related industry.
• High level knowledge of cannabis medical and adult use markets a plus.
• Familiarity with basic computer and mobile hardware and systems - desktop, tablet, mobile.
• Ability to travel within Michigan up to 75% of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
