ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and provide leadership for assigned Equipment Management and condition monitoring teams and supporting resources.
- Direct, implement & maintain an equipment condition monitoring process throughout all Rental areas to insure positive working relationships with clients and internal personnel.
- Manage a team that is responsible for researching, analyzing, and correcting product problems.
- Manage and oversee all manufacturer updates to exceed a 95% completing rate on all Rental machines. Effectively manage financial health corporate assets.
- Direct coordination with other operational areas relating to planning, and execution of detected repairs that may arise from within the condition monitoring processes.
- Assist in the development of condition monitoring reports for clients and internal personnel.
- Develop technical report condition monitoring process, inspection reports and assign priorities for the remedial actions when required; follow up on work progress of maintenance planning and condition monitoring practices.
- Must work closely with EIS team to create and maintain software and programs to keep Empire on the leading edge of technology in supporting condition monitoring processes.
- Identify commercial impact opportunities through proper communications within all areas of Empire.
- Create an environment of ownership and personal accountability where each person is responsible and accountable for their performance.
- Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist Sales, Parts & Product Support operation areas with condition monitoring intervention and product discussions.
- Working closely with operational managers, lead efforts to understand current methods of operations as they relate to mining, construction, and agriculture.
- Schedule and\or participate in regular site visits and quarterly meetings with clients through the Equipment Manager Team and PSSR managers.
- Coordinate and centralize all equipment data and information from all related Industry disciplines for analysis and formalized reports. Document and communicate issues that may impact customer satisfaction to the appropriate area.
- Work within and promote corporate values.
- Ability to use Empires business systems to extract customer and equipment data.
- Must have interpersonal skills and mechanical aptitude skills sufficient to professionally interact with clients, factory personnel, and all operational areas of Empire.
- Must have extensive understanding of technical service information, preferably in heavy equipment & mining applications.
- Must have in depth technical knowledge about heavy equipment & mining application systems operation, troubleshooting, and repair, or the exposure to similar technical requirements.
- Must have strong verbal and written technical subject communication skills.
- Must have organization and planning skills sufficient to insure personal and delegated work assignments are completed on time.
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
- Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum 5 years work experience in the Earthmoving and Mining industry.
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
