Overview

Afterimage Lighting, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales / Quotation Specialist to join our company to build and develop its sales force. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive customer and client experience. In addition you will collaborate with members of the sales, finance, or product teams to ensure content is complete, accurate, and timely. You may be responsible for developing responses to complex or high-value inquiries.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

• Identifies potential projects and compiles list of material requirements including, lighting, supplies and other distribution services.
• Interacts with customers to obtain approvals.
• Reads and interprets specifications and blueprints.
• Communicates with suppliers to discuss material specifications, clarifies and confirms bill of materials, negotiates pricing and identifies alternatives for special or custom orders.
• Supervised negotiations with both suppliers and customers
• Provides material including, lighting, controls, switchgear take-offs for preparing customer quotations.
• Coordinates receipt of required information for preparation of final quotation submittal.
• Communicates with customers to resolve problems with projects during sales process pre and post sale.
• Follows-up on open and outstanding quotations with salespersons and customers to determine status.
• Posts projects being bid by customers via company software.
• Ensure all bids and quotes are completed and sent to the customer by the required date and time
• Maintains catalogs and price lists.

Qualifications:

• High School Degree or Equivalent required
• 3 or more years of experience is required
• Associates’ Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or minimum 5 years experience as an Electrician preferred;
• Licenses/Certificates/Designations preferred
• Broad knowledge of product lines and pricing strategies is preferred.
• Experience with lighting and lighting controls preferred.
• Familiarity working with electrical/ commercial contractors or Lighting Manufactures is preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers and suppliers to obtain pricing information and cooperation.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
