About The Role
Leverage existing relationships & engage in activities to generate new relationships to facilitate business development & expand revenue opportunity
Partner with Dedham Group leadership team to support pipeline development, sales cycle progression, and proposal scoping / delivery
Adhere to Dedham standards regarding client relationships & project pricing / scoping, including rapid response time, client-first mentality, competitive pricing, and scopes that enable quality insight generation
Promote Dedham capabilities and solutions through involvement in lead generation activities (e.g., conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.), individually & in collaboration with Dedham Group marketing resources
Leverage internal Dedham Group/ Norstella resources to support lead generation & cross-selling opportunities within the Market Access Business Unit
Maintain and update client records in Salesforce
Spearhead competitive assessment by tracking competitors and their initiatives and analyzing competitive threats from within and outside the market

About You
You are an experienced Sales Generator in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences space who understands how to develop new revenue opportunities with Pharmaceutical and Life Science companies; developing and executing an annual strategic business plan to drive new revenue and sales growth of commercialization services as measured by sales bookings. You are directly accountable for a select group of small and mid-sized life sciences targets
You have a track record of building relationships with targets (especially at the senior executive and procurement levels) and leveraging these relationships to generate new business opportunities. You enjoy prospecting, solution development, SOW finalization, and successful transition to implementation.
You can promote Dedham capabilities and solutions through lead generation activities (e.g., conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.)
Requirements
15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or commercialization, including industry or strategy / consulting-focused roles
Experiences selling to life sciences/pharmaceutical clients
Prior commitment to business development targets
Skilled in generating and managing leads
Successful track record in driving revenue growth, achieving business results
Expertise in consultative, insight-focused account-based selling approach & ability to scope strategic consulting engagements
Comprehensive understanding of life science and pharmaceutical engagement strategies and tactics

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $187,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
