Why We're Hiring
While working with our Sales team, the Sales Planning Analyst will be responsible for forecasting, planning, and providing detailed data-driven ways to grow revenue and seller success by marketplace category.
What You'll Do
- Help forecast KPIs around Marketplace growth, revenue, and seller retention strategies. Help guide sales teams to achieve these metrics.
- Design the overall category growth strategy - define goals, identify opportunities, forecast the business, and go-to-market.
- Help drive category go-to-market strategies in conjunction with the VP of Sales, tech, and marketing
- Responsible for planning/analyzing category financial plans and seller targets
- Oversee Marketplace contract negotiations with support from VP of Sales
- Assist in defining seller terms and take rates and incentives while managing profit margins.
- Drive reactive strategy to performance trends
- Build relationships and cross-functional strategy with company-wide business unit leaders across Creative, Finance, Legal, Technology, Data, Marketing, E Commerce Operations & Merchandising
- Provide data-driven insights on ways to grow revenue and seller success per marketplace category
- Flag roadblocks/ potential accelerants on a moment-by-moment basis
- Assist in developing strategies to increase seller retention
- Track performance toward merchant and sales objectives
Who You Are
- Minimum 3 years sales/planning experience in related business or brand with demonstrated product development experience, preferably in a digital retail environment
- Excellent product sensibility and conceptual ability
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to take initiative, ownership, and accountability for business
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task
- Strong strategic sensibility
- Ability to manage complexity and find solutions
- Adept at manipulating large amounts of data to find key insights and tell a compelling story
- Passionate about working cross-functionally, especially with data, technology, finance, and operations
