Job Description

Attractions Dining and Value Guide supports local community groups, schools and businesses and we need YOU to be an important part of our mission. We help businesses increase their sales and profits by connecting them with customers from the local area.

We are passionate about our role and supporting our partners, when you care about helping businesses see more customers and helping schools and non-profits with successful fundraising events, everything else will take care of itself.

We need you to:

Connect with local businesses and partner them with our program. We offer them a risk free, guaranteed advertising program at no cost with a qualified ad.

Build a quality print and mobile publication with valuable offers from the best places in the community.

Share with our merchant partners the best ways to increase customer traffic and sales.

Work as a team with our home office and your colleagues.

Research and prospect qualified schools and community groups for fundraising events.

Help guide them with best practices for successful events that exceed their goals.

Deliver great customer service at all times.

Your daily routine will be to meet with current and prospective customers and help them with marketing or fundraising needs. This will involve research and organization to plan your day, following up on previous sales calls and making new calls to prospective customers. We have outstanding renewal rates with our customers, so in addition to finding new ones, you will be assisting and helping existing business. We work with great people who help others and have a need for our service. We employ modern tools to help you in the field, and to support your active accounts. It’s outside sales, so your routine will vary. While the majority of the work is during regular business hours, occasionally you may have an early evening parent group meeting or a weekend kick off.

Compensation:

Base salary plus commissions, with a strong earning potential.

Requirements, nice to have:

Interests in helping others succeed.

Sales, or some sales experience.

Volunteer or leadership experiences, some of our best representatives were first our customers.

Organizational and communication skills.

Reliable transportation and a good driving record; it is an outside sales position.

Must be able to lift a 30lb box of books on a regular basis.

Reside within or near the communities we serve.
